13 years on since the release of the first Avatar, James Cameron is back in the director’s chair as he brings us a deeply personal sequel and the likelihood that it might be his biggest work yet.
Avatar: The Way of Water is lauded by critics as a “mind-blowing visual masterpiece”
The innovation of HFR technology enables movies to be played in 48 fps (Frames Per Second), twice as fast as standard films. This represents an advanced improvement in the overall viewing experience. James Cameron explains that HFR was used in Avatar 2 to create a high degree of presence across the entire experience, using HFR to provide an immersive environment that greatly enhances scenes within the movie, especially flying and under water action scenes which were so impressive from the first Avatar movie.
