    We are looking for a dedicated, driven, ambitious and self-motivated individual interested in pursuing a career in a cinema/leisure environment. A positive mental outlook, with Can-Do attitude, is essential for this position.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient day to day running of the cinema while ensuring that superior customer service is delivered at all times, as well as managing one of the areas of cinema operations: Retail, Training and Development, Facilities/Health and Safety, Audit.
    The main objective of the role is to maximise profit and minimise loss.

    Typical daily duties will include, but are not limited to:
    • Implementation of the cinema customer relations policies
    • Ensuring audience satisfaction
    • Responding to customer’s comments and queries (via various channels)
    • Driving work standards among the team and managing staff performance
    • Achieving audience and sales targets
    • Overseeing completion of daily cleaning tasks and actively promoting the highest level of cleanliness among staff
    • Implementing all procedures and incentives as directed by the General Manager and in cooperation with the rest of the Management Team
    • Managing promotions within the cinema
    • Highly accurate cash handling and stock control
    • Preparing reports, statistics, forecasts and financial accounts
    • Complying with licensing and health and safety regulations; taking proactive steps in ensuring the safety of customers, staff and other persons on the premises.
    • Operating digital projection equipment

    Ability to work flexible hours as weekends and nights are a necessary part of this job. You will be based in Dundrum but may be required to work at our sister sites for periods of up to 6 months.

    We would like to invite staff the opportunity to apply for a supervisor position. The applicant must be a dedicated, driven, ambitious and self-motivated individual. The ideal candidate will have a positive mental outlook, with a Can-Do attitude, full availability and be willing to work between 30 and 39 hours a week.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the cinema operations in unison with the management team, ensuring that superior quality and guest service is delivered at all times.
    The main objective of the role is the smooth running of the cinema in areas of Retail and Ushering.

    Typical daily duties will include, but are not limited to:

    The role is being offered for a 6 month trial period after which the position will be reviewed. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to return to their original role within the organisation if the position is not made permanent.

  • ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT – PART TIME

    [email protected] Dundrum would like to invite applicants for the position of Accounts Assistant. Experience in accounts is desirable however applicants who can exhibit skills and experience in similar working environments may also be considered. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient day to day control of all aspects of payroll/wages/invoicing.

     

    Requirements;

    1. Experience working in accounts department.
    2. Payroll/wages experience.
    3. Excellent computer skills and proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel etc.)
    4. Proven communication skills over the phone and email.
    5. Excellent written and spoken English essential.
    6. Strong organizational ability, attention to detail and ability to multitask.
    7. Creative dynamic thinker, with a ‘Can-Do’ attitude.
    8. Ability to work independently.

    This role is being offered on a six-month temporary contract basis, after which time it may either be extended or offered on a permanent basis. Hours worked to be discussed but this role will be part-time (three weekdays, possibly four).

    Salary negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.
