Tom Holland makes his third and definitely not his final appearance as Marvel Universes Spider-Man. After huge success in Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) and Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019) it’s no surprise to see Holland’s return to the role as he completes the trilogy. The cast also includes Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jacob Batalon, Jon Favreau, Marisa Tomei, J. B. Smoove, Benedict Wong, Jamie Foxx, Alfred Molina, Willem Dafoe, Thomas Haden Church, and Rhys Ifans . This time around our friendly neighborhood hero is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high stakes of being a Superhero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange, the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man. With Big names such as Toby Mcguire, Kirsten Dunst, and Jake Gyllenhaal all been thrown into the rumour hat for appearances and also the news that the MCU and Sony’s Spider-Man universes are potentially combining and leaving the door wide open for a cross over with Tom Hardy’s Venom, we are left with more questions than answers before the movie’s release. After the release of two teaser trailers, fans of the franchise can’t help but be excited by the possibilities that may or may not lay ahead for both Spider-Man himself and the extended Marvel Universe. With so many rumours of the return of Spider-Man past characters and actors, it’s going to be a real guessing game until the movie hits the big screen.
